TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/- As part of fiscalization process, the General Directorate of Taxation informed the entities operating in the field of information technology on establishment of a joint committee for certification of software solutions manufacturers / maintainers.
Pursuant to the CoM decision “On the technical and functional requirements of the software solution for the billing and fiscalization procedure as well as the procedure and criteria for registration of developers and maintainers of software solutions,” the Directorate General of Taxation and National Agency of Information Society have signed a joint order on appointments to the joint certification committee, creating the opportunity for application and certification of any interested entity.
The process of fiscalization which is set to start in September this year is aimed at modernizing the taxation system, reducing informal economy and improving the climate of doing business.
