TIRANA, April 25/ATA/- The chairman of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha said today during the conversation with the representatives of the Democratic Party throughout Albania that, “We shall be the voice of the people’s troubles and problems”.
Basha said that, “Today, I talked through several video conferences with the leaders and representatives of the Democratic Party throughout Albania, regarding the difficult situation that the country is going through”.
“What is common everywhere is that citizens are in difficulty in ensuring their daily lives. The state has left in oblivion thousands of families in need and businesses. Most have not yet received any assistance or support from the government, while they also have to pay increased electricity and water bills. We will continue to be in touch with people to voice their concerns in these difficult days,” said he.
Likewise, Basha added that, “Without any delay, the government should distribute the survival funds and immediately include all families and people in need. To support the enterprise in survival difficulties, small business, farmers, façon business, manufacturing businesses and tourism, without excluding anyone.
“Albanians, who have paid these 7 years taxes among the highest in the region, today need the help that belongs to them from the state. The government cannot hide its responsibility,” he said. /a.a/p.s./
