TIRANA, April 16 /ATA/ Minister of Interior , Sandër Lleshaj, stated that the govt. is working with a team of experts to transition to the second phase of gradually opening several sectors of public and economic life without risking what has been achieved so far.
“While the approach is under discussion, our aim is to create more working opportunities in those sectors where the risk is manageable. Generally the citizens have understood the importance of measures taken to safeguard their lives.”
Regarding the amendments to the Criminal Code amid this situation of pandemic, Minister of Interior Sandër Lleshaj said that they aim to prevent deaths due to invisible agents.
«We are coping with an unusual situation which goes beyond any fantasy and as such they cannot be managed by usual means. We need to take steps towards sustainable and legal solutions guaranteeing the efficient response to such situations,” Minister of Interior said.
