TIRANA, April 11 /ATA/ President Ilir Meta congratulated the Catholic and evangelical believers on the Holy Feast of Easter, saying: Today more than ever we all need to feel the message of the Risen Christ.
Today we are celebrating Easter behind “closed doors” due to pandemic, which is causing a lot of pain, poverty and fear. Therefore, more than ever, we all need to feel deep in our souls and in our hearts the message of the Risen Christ, who commands us: “I am alive among you, so do NOT FEEL AFRAID.” The resurrection of Christ assures us that God, for anyone who believes in Him, is present everywhere, in every place, and at all times. So let’s turn these difficult moments we’re experiencing into strength and courage, because even physically away from each other, but with solidarity and inclusiveness, we can and will manage it. Because, as Pope Francis says:
“The resurrection of Christ is strength and courage in the most difficult moments for all mankind. Love makes us hope for a better world, ”Meta says.
As we rejoice in the humbleness of Easter holiday, Meta says the prayer goes to doctors and nurses who are selflessly fighting in the front line to protect the health of every citizen.
