TIRANA, April 11 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, on a visit to Durres, held a meeting with directors and employees of Regional Police, whom he thanked for their high commitment and responsibility in the line of duty.
At the meeting minister Lleshaj said: It looks like police force has grown in number. The fact is that police have become an omnipresent force because they work overtime. So I avail myself of the opportunity to thank the employees of State Police for their commitment and dedication.
Lleshaj promised from Durrës that State Police employees will be rewarded for their efforts, for the overtime services because they come second after the healthcare practitioners for the burden they carry amid the COVID 19 situation.
Lleshaj went on saying: Police are not only responsible for compliance with containment measures, they are also responsible for fight against crime, prevention of crime and other phenomena that threaten public order.
