TIRANA, April 3/ATA/- The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announced Friday the request for expropriation or exchange of property in order to develop the first zone in the Thumana administrative unit in Kruja.
According to the request published in the Official Gazette, a total of 21 properties are affected by this project, 10 of which are private properties and the rest are state land. The Ministry of Infrastructure has planned to compensate the affected owners, while the total amount of compensation is worth 15,910,549 ALL.
Persons affected by this project are entitled to submit their claims within 15 days after publication, accompanied by relevant documents to the Albanian Development Fund, as well as to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, stating whether they accept the voluntary transfer of ownership under the conditions set forth in the project.
The Albanian government pledged to build 3400 individual homes for residents affected by the strong earthquake that struck the country on November 26 of last year.//a.i/
