WASHINGTON, March 26 /ATA/ – The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo hailed Thursday the EU Council’s decision to open the accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia two days ago, saying the United States will remain a partner in every step of the way.
“We welcome the EU Council’s decision to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia,” Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo said via Twitter.
“The United States will remain your partner every step of the way,” he concluded.
