PRISTINA, March 18/ATA/-Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi issued the decree on introduction of the extraordinary situation in the country.
The decree needs the approval of the Parliament of Kosovo to enter into force.
The president decided for the extraordinary situation as the doctors identified 19 positive cases of coronavirus in Kosovo.
The decree carries several measures of protection against the coronavirus.
Thaçi argued that he was obliged to take a decision because of an unprecedented disaster, COVID19.
Thaçi called for the commitment of everybody./p.s./
