TIRANA, March 13/ATA/As of next week, Monday through Friday, primary education lessons will be broadcast on Albanian public broadcaster, RTSH school channel.
“Yes, the shooting is over and the morning schedule on Albanian public broadcaster will be available for primary education throughout the coming week. So, from 10:30 to 12:00hrs Monday through to Friday, there will be a primary education lesson, ” says Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Besa Shahini.
The Minister went on saying that of course there will be Albanian language lessons not only for the primary education that we will be aired next week, but also for secondary and higher education. We haven’t foreseen any English lessons for these two weeks, but if we decide to postpone school beyond March 23, we will definitely shoot extra lessons. We will also shoot lectures in foreign languages and the arts.
“The lectures aired on the ART channel and also on the youtube channel of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth are of dual service. First, they are lectures that help repeat lessons learned at school, and second, they are lessons slated for these two weeks so as not to lag behind. Yet, this does not replace direct work with the teacher. So, we encourage students to stay in constant touch with teachers, to get instructions from them on what lessons to do at home, what parts of books to read, what parts of homework should do during these two weeks so that when they return to school, they will make a short summary and continue with the other classes we have to close, “she said, adding that” we should work hard at this stage, to cooperate in order to catch up on curricula and not be fall, “ the Minister is quoted as saying.
