TIRANA, March 11/ATA/- All services at the counters are banned beginning from today, following a government decision while all service requests will be made online.
The pensioners do not have to go to the post office to withdraw their pension as this service will be provided to them at home and free of charge.
The Albanian Post also declared that, “The pensions will be distributed by the Albanian Post to the addresses of pensioners at no cost”.
To manage the situation and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Albanian Post informed all pensioners that the pension offices will be closed until a second order.
“The pensioners are required to deposit their phone number, the correct address and ID number or photocopy of their ID card in the mailbox near the office where they are live,” said the Post.
“Every post office will display contact numbers for any information necessary for the distribution of pensions,” said the Albanian Post.
