TIRANA, March 4/ATA/- The government aim is to complete the construction of the new individual houses of the quake-affected families next year, to celebrate the New Year at home, and their children to go back to school at the beginning of the new school year, the Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama said.
At a meeting of the International Committee for Reconstruction, attended by representatives of international donors, the Premier Rama said that, “shortly afterwards, the relevant authorities will begin construction of multi-family apartment buildings in urban communities, especially in the most complex areas.”
“We must aim to succeed. The word failure must not be part of reconstruction vocabulary. Success should be the key word,” the Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama said, while emphasizing that,” time plays a crucial role in this process, as we need to keep people from waiting too long.”
In his remarks, the Prime Minister Rama stressed that, “we need to make sure that Albania’s Reconstruction Program eventually becomes a model to be followed by other countries as well.” //a.i/
