TIRANA, March 2/ATA/- The initiative on fiscal amnesty for all capitals will serve formalization of the economy and its development.
The Albania Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj stated today that, “this initiative has been taken by other countries as well, and that currently the technical groups are working on the drafting of the bill, to be then submitted to the stakeholders for consultation.”
“It is an initiative that is not being taken for the first time in one place. It has been undertaken in other countries as well. The initiative will also involve international experts, according to the international standards,” Minister Denaj said .
According to Denaj, the government initiative on formalization of economy aims to move forward with the action, following the law on fiscalization approved by the Albanian Parliament on December 18, 2019, and published in the official gazette on 20 January 2020. The measures in the law become effective on September 1 this year.”//a.i/
