TIRANA, Feb 28/ATA/- The Albania Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) published today the report on Construction Permits during the fourth quarter of 2019.
According to INSTAT, in the fourth quarter of 2019 a total of 196 construction permits were issued for new buildings compared to 360 in the fourth quarter of 2018, recording a decrease of 45.6%.
During 2019, a total of 1044 construction permits were issued for new buildings, compared to 1194 permits issued in 2018, showing a decrease of 12.6%.
According to INSTAT, at the national level, the total area in square meters of construction permits issued for new buildings in the fourth quarter of 2019 was 240,480 m2, compared with 618,219 m2 in the same period of 2018 , showing a decrease of 61.1 %.
The approximate value of construction permits issued for new buildings and civil engineering in the fourth quarter 2019 was ALL 11.7 billion compared with ALL 22.1 billion in the fourth quarter 2018, recording a decrease of 47.1%. //a.i/
