TIRANA, Jan 29 /ATA/ – The Council of Ministers adopted Wednesday the financial assistance agreement under the European Commission’s Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance II (IPA II)
The Council of Ministers’ decision states that “pursuant to Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 19 of Law no. 43/2016, “On international agreements in the Republic of Albania”, on the proposal of the Prime Minister and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers approved the financial assistance agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Commission of the European Union about the 2018 annual national program for Albania under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II).”
The Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) represents the EU’s new mechanism by which the EU supports reforms in the enlargement countries with financial and technical help.
