TIRANA, Jan 23 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/- The National Institute for Cultural Heritage stated on Thursday that Italian embassy responded to the request with the mission “Task Force Italiana U4H” for recognition and assessment of cultural heritage damage.
“The Ministry of Culture in the aftermath of Nov 26 earthquake has requested the participation of foreign experts to assist Albanian authorities in administration of emergency cases in cultural heritage protection. The first mission consists in recognition and assessment of the current needs through on the site examinations,” according to National Institute of Cultural Heritage.
Sources from the National Institute of Cultural Heritage explain that the group of Italian specialists and National Institute for Cultural Heritage inspected the Ethnographic Museum of Kavaja.
