TIRANA, January 22/ATA/- More than 1 million citizens had the Basic Medical Checkups since 2015, when this Program was launched.
The Compulsory Health Insurance Fund provided the figures saying that the Basic Medical Checkup Program is very important for maintaining the health of the population.
The Insurance Fund also said that, “1,802,183 citizens or 61% of the population have undergone the Basic Medical Examination since 2015 when this Program was launched”.
Likewise, this program has been increasing awareness on importance of prevention and timely treatment of diseases.
Now through the government e-Albania portal, the citizens can be informed online about the data and results of the tests on the Mandatory Medical Checkup Package, for people aged 35-70.
Basic medical checkup for 35-70 year olds is free of charge and is provided at the medical center near the dwelling place./p.s./
