TIRANA, Jan 6 /ATA/- The Albanian Road Authority (ARRA) announced Monday that there is smooth traffic flow in all the national road axes.
According to ARA, for maintaining clear roads at low temperatures and achieving bare/dry roadway conditions the relevant authorities in cooperation with all contractors will be engaged in to clearing snow from the roads and salting of the main roads, pedestrian areas.
The northern country was dominated by low temperatures and high winds but circulation is normally and without chains in all axes of the northern region.
In the Kuben-Vasije road segment is covered by 4-5 cm snowfall, accompanied by cyclone’s strongest winds.
In the central country, all road segments are passable and the crews are working to clear the snow from segments and scatter salt on icy parts.
“The situation after the snowfalls in the southern country is normal. There was no rainfall at night. Temperatures went up to -7 ° in some areas, such as in Dardha, Qafa e Qarrit dominated by the strong wind,”ARA reported. //a.i/
