TIRANA, December 28/ATA/- The first snowfall has covered the tourist village of Voskopoja.
The picturesque village is attracting more and more local and foreign tourists every year.
Being under the white cloak, Voskopoja attracts snow-lovers who are not afraid of the low temperatures that are prevailing in our country in recent days.
Likewise, Voskopoja remains one of the most important cultural, artistic and historical centers of the Balkans, a gem of Balkan and European culture.
Voskopoja is special for the objects of the cult, churches, which have survived to some extent: “St. Nicholas”, “Saint Mary”, “Saint Elias”, Monastery of “Saint Prodrom”, ” Saint Athanasius” , “Saint Michael”, which are a Category I cultural monument, and on which there has been continuously shown care to restore and preserve the architectural value of these monuments.
