TIRANA, December 13/ATA/- The teaching process has begun normally in all schools of Durrës.
Director of the Education Office in Durrës Erieta Alhysa said in a statement for the Albanian Telegraphic Agency that 12 out of 55 educational buildings are out of function due to the earthquake.
Meanwhile, the pupils of these schools are accommodated in the functional schools, where the teaching is carried out in two shifts.
“The resumption of the teaching process in the municipality of Durrës has started normally. The Local Education Office has taken all steps to organize in record time the teaching process. 12 of the school buildings out of 55 are out of order. The Local Education Office has taken measures to move the children of the 12 schools to other schools where the teaching process has begun in two shifts,”said Alhysa.
She also informed that private schools have been subject to building inspections and teaching has begun normally. Teaching process is going ahead normally even in the temporary schools set up near the hotels. /z.tosku/p.s./
