TIRANA, Dec 9 /ATA/ – By Gjergji Mima/PM Edi Rama stated on Monday at the second meeting of National Reconstruction Committee that construction companies should allocate, according to law, 3 percent of construction surface for special needs.
Rama said that this 3% share should be dedicated either in the form of money or apartments.
“The municipality of Tirana but also of Durrës and Lezha as well other municipalities affected should prepare the documentation for 3% share which has been included in the law. All constructors have the legal obligation to allocate 3% of their surface for special needs,” Rama said.
The prime minister said, “In the special law we will include this asking all of them who currently build with the permission of the municipalities to dedicate the amount either by donating money or by guaranteeing apartments according to the criteria for needy families. ”
