TIRANA, December 6/ATA/- During his stay in Bratislava, Albania’s Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj held a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell.
Cakaj said that, “Discussions focused on the significance of going ahead with the EU enlargement process in the Western Balkans and the necessity of opening accession negotiations with Albania”.
The interlocutors also discussed in detail the priorities of the OSCE Albanian Chairmanship and joint actions in service of stability and security in Europe.
“We emphasized the extraordinary importance of visa liberalization with the Republic of Kosovo and the need to realize it as soon as possible”, said Cakaj./m.m/j.p/p.s./
