TIRANA, December 5/ATA/- Head of the Operational Office on Management of Natural Disaster Operations, Minister Bledi Çuçi held a meeting with UNDP representatives who, in coordination with the United Nations Agencies in Albania, will work to identify the necessary support in this emergency situation caused by the devastating earthquake of November 26th.
The minister considered important their contribution to the damage assessment methodology and later to the recovery program.
“From the first day of the disaster, but even today, international assistance to Albania remains essential in overcoming this situation. The extraordinary solidarity of the recent days, at home and abroad, by Albanians and the world at large, is a strong example of a shared resolution to get up again after the disaster that shook us all deeply,” said Çuçi./a.gjonaj/ /a.g/p.s./
