7 priorities of 2-year govt. programme until 2021

TIRANA, Nov 25 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ PM Edi Rama stated on Monday that the govt. will focus on 7 main priorities until the end of second term of office.

“If we had received a positive decision on opening of EU accession talks, something that I have shared with all PMs of EU member countries, it would have been a new source of energy in public opinion in support of reforms, however from practical standpoint it will change nothing,” Rama said.
Therefore, PM said, we will keep up the momentum as if Albania had received a positive decision.

“Meanwhile we need to focus on closing the second term of office, 7 priorities, not because we will put the remaining others aside, but because the public wants to see the final product of June elections,” Rama said.

At the rollout of two-year govt. programme, PM Rama listed the 7 main priorities.

1 Escalating fight against crime and corruption.

2. From Jan 1 next year up to 2020, all counters serving the citizens should close to be replaced by online services, at least the applications.

3. Energy and infrastructure.

4. New regime on coastline.

5. Closing the process of legalizations for housing, excluding businesses, and final legalization of agricultural land.

6. Final product until the end of term for transformation of university infrastructure.
7. Regional Schengen
