TIRANA, November 22/ATA/- Our compatriots in Serbia and Albanians in the Presevo Valley in particular do not represent just a small or marginal part of nation, but a valuable and inalienable asset of the nation, the Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj stated at the today’s meeting with Presevo Valley leaders in Tirana.
“Today’s meeting should not be considered as a separate event, but an ongoing process aimed at coordinating our political stances and deepening relations between the Republic of Albania and Albanians in the Presevo Valley in particular,” Cakaj said.
“Coordination of our positions and deepening of cooperation is a precondition for the protection of the rights of Albanians in Serbia and further advancement of the major and vital national objectives,” he stressed.
“Time to show unity and solidarity based on national interests. Albania will vocalize their concerns and defend the rights. Agreed to deepen cooperation and continue playing a constructive role in the region,” Minister Cakaj said. //a.i/
