TIRANA, November 21/ATA/- The Special Appellate College dismissed today from office the member of the Constitutional Court Besnik Muçi, appointed by President Ilir Meta.
The Special Appellate College argued that, “The administered evidence is considered sufficient therefore, Muçi cannot enjoy public confidence in staying in office”.
According to the Special Appellate College, Muçi has shaken public confidence and consequently the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, which had confirmed him in office, should be reversed.
But, according to the panel, the member of the Constitutional Court is under the circumstances of insufficient declaration of property.
“For this reason, the jury decided to overturn the Independent Qualification Commission’s decision and dismiss Muçi,” stated the Special Appellate College./p.s./
