TIRANA, Nov 20 /ATA/ – In the frame of Pact for University, another important step is taken towards guaranteeing and controlling the scientific integrity of Albanian academics.
During a meeting held today at the premises of MoESY between Minister Shahini, representatives of Albanian Academic Network (RASH) and heads of public universities in the country, it was agreed to purchase and use the acclaimed “Akademia” platform – an anti-plagiarism control software on the web that will enable plagiarism detection.
During the meeting, minister Shahini stated that “the Albanian government will ensure the purchase of this software during 1-year pilot phase and make it available to HEIs to scrutinize the scientific works.
