TIRANA, November 18/ATA/- The Chairman of the High Prosecutorial Council (HPC), Gent Ibrahimi demanded an increase in the funding at the today’s meeting of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights on the review of the draft law on “Budget for 2020”.
HPC Chairman, Genti Ibrahimi stated today that, there is a need for additional funds related to the provision of recording equipment for Committee meetings.
“We demand ALL 28 million to cover the start-up costs of the new building, audio and video system and generators. We request the approval of 60 million ALL which will be used for operating expenses, 40 million ALL for court investment and 100 million ALL for electronic management and an additional fund for Justice Appointments Council, ” the Chairperson of the High Judicial Council (HJC), Naureda Llagami said. //a.i/
