TIRANA, November 16/ATA/- The Municipality of Tirana has made available a funding scheme for the local residents to obtain financing for infrastructure projects, or a specific problem in their community.
The local residents get organized guided by the apartment block manager so that to benefit the necessary funding.
An apartment block rehabilitated recently by the Community Fund is located at “Fadil Bodinaku” street in Tirana, where the residents contributed 50% of the funding and Tirana Municipality the other half.
The residents told the Albanian Telegraphic Agency journalist that interventions were desperately needed as the 30-year old building was in poor condition.
“The change is visible. We are satisfied with the manager of the apartment block. The building used to be rather outdated. Thanks to the intervention of the municipality, the cooperation with the manager of the apartment block and the good understanding of the residents it was made possible the improvement of all the apartment block”, said among other things an inhabitant./j.p/p.s./
