TIRANA, November 12/ATA/- On the sidelines of the Paris Peace Forum, the President of the Republic Ilir Meta met today with President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Luca Jahier.
President Meta praised the commitment of the EESC in support of our country’s European integration process.
Likewise, the Head of State expressed to President Jahier gratitude for the EESC Resolution in favor of Albania and North Macedonia opening of the EU accession negotiations.
The two interlocutors exchanged ideas for future co-operation, in particular the prospect of establishment of a Joint Advisory Committee on Civil Society./a.g/p.s./
