TIRANA, Nov 12 /ATA/- Construction industry has recorded a substantial increase in investments with nearly 83% more than in 2017.
According to INSTAT data, construction companies have invested nearly EUR 335 mln last year.
Meanwhile, the number of construction permits for 2018 was at an all-time high in the last 6 years.
According to data from Statistics Institute, nearly 1200 construction permits were issued last year, recording an increase of 46% as compared to 2017.
INSTAT adds that the statistics about investments in the sector of industry are very upbeat. In the most important segment, processing industry, enterprises have expanded investments by 18%, whereas in extraction industry investments have grown twice as high as those in 2017. /e.xh/j.p/sm/
