TIRANA, Nov 5 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/- Parliamentary Committee on European Integration approved the draft law “On the production, transportation and marketing of bio-fuels and other renewable fuels in transport.
Under the stewardship of chairwoman, Rudina Hajdari, Committee on European Integration reviewed the draft law on production, transport and marketing of other renewable fuels for transport.
Invited to the session to speak about the draft law were Ilir Bejtja, Deputy Minister of
Infrastructure and Energy as well as specialists of this ministry.
For his part, Bejtja reported before the afore-mentioned committee that although the law in question has been introduced four years ago, an agreement has been reached with institutions involved on this draft law only now.
As to whether this bill is in alignment with EU legislation, Dedë Kasneci director of Legislation Approximation Service, said that after review we concluded that this bill has been aligned with the relevant EU legislation.
After a Q&A session as well as discussion with the members, the committee adopted in principle, article by article and as a whole the draft law.
