Normative Act for Budget 2019, a reserve fund for emergencies

TIRANA, November 4/ATA/- The Normative Act on some changes to the 2019 budget guarantees a redistribution of some invoices and takes into account unforeseen situations, such as the September 21 earthquake.

Socialist Party MP Senida Mesi made the statement in the Parliament today emphasizing that, “First of all, we aim to raise the state budget reserve fund following the emergency situation created after the September 21 earthquake”.

“The aggravated political climate has not helped economic growth as it has created uncertainty, damaged image and investments within the territory. The situation that is presenting the economic growth in the Balkans sends signals to Albania to creating policies that promote entrepreneurship, “said Mesi.

According to her, “The goal is for all sectors to contribute to economic growth, not just some specific sectors.”

She expressed the belief that coastal and mountain tourism, especially after government-initiated projects such as the “100 villages” and other investment schemes, would bring a successful benefit to the economy.

Likewise, Mesi said that creation of independent and free economic zones would encourage foreign investors to invest in those areas.

“We need to see facilities for the foreign direct investment in the next fiscal package,” said Mesi.

She also praised the results in fight against informality as very positive in defending entrepreneurship./a.g/p.s./
