TIRANA, November 1/ATA/- Five municipalities of Berat district are implementing an integrated waste management project funded by State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO providing a grant of 2.2 million Swiss Francs (CHF).
Within this project, a regional waste management plan has been already prepared.
According to Berat Mayor, Ervin Demo, high on the Municipality agenda is the safe waste disposal, followed by municipal recycling improvement and the implementation of complex of wastewater treatment plants and optimization of municipal solid waste collection.//a.i/
