TIRANA, November 1/ATA/- The Albanian Fire and Rescue Service has undergone a significant transformation over the past years, the Prime Minister Edi Rama stated Friday while sharing on the social media an overview of the services during 2014-2019.
In 2019 the number of firefighters accounted for 1145 compared with 739 in 2014, or 406 firefighters more than in 2014.
In 2019 the number of the fire engines amounted to 145 compared with 105 in 2014, or 40 fire engines more than in 2014.
Also, in 2019 the number of fire stations accounted for 70 compared with 38 in 2014 or 32 fire stations more than in 2014. //a.i/
