TIRANA, Oct 25 /ATA/ – Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection, Eduard Shalsi, visited Friday the Brigaide Innovation Fair in the light of the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program.
The Minister, accompanied by the Dutch Ambassador to Albania, Guusje Korthals Altes, has visited the eye-catching stands prepared by students, professors, Albanian and foreign researchers on the use of technology in natural disaster management.

“Together with the Dutch Ambassador to Albania, we visited the fair organized in cooperation with the National Urban Planning Agency on the use of technology in natural disaster management.”

We listened carefully to the rollout of innovative projects crafted by students, professors, Albanian and foreign researches in the light of EC’s “Horizon 2020” programme,” Shalsi says.

These projects, according to him, speak about the precaution against natural phenomena and environmental protection.

“Interesting but also concrete ideas, such as designing apps to alert people in case of emergencies, erosion prevention, flood management and many other projects focused on the preparedness to prevent natural phenomena and environmental protection.
