TIRANA, Oct 25 /ATA/ – The Head of EU delegation to Albania, Luigi Soreca, stated that EU will continue to support Albania down the path to EU accession.
“The commitment of the EU to the EU integration of Albania remains unwavering. The EU will continue to strongly support Albania’s EU path, to bring back the Albanian people to the family they belong. The Albanian authorities should keep focusing on the reform process, the only path that will bring Albania towards its destination. Not for the EU, but for Albania and for all its citizens, for the progress of the country toward higher standards in terms of democracy and rule of law,” ambassador Soreca said on Friday afternoon.
