TIRANA, October 25 /ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama said during an interview on television last evening that one of the main concerns of the Albanians nowadays is the fact that everything that has to do with justice remains pending. This implies that there is no justice in Albania.
But, emphasized the prime minister, things are changing with the justice system if compared with six years ago when the Socialists came in power.
“There is a process underway and the foundations of the new justice are being laid”, said the prime minister.
“The most powerful and intact caste in Albania has been dismantled, i.e. the upper caste of judges and prosecutors transformed into oligarchs in the course of the last 30 years”, emphasized the prime minister.
He added that the vetting process has cleansed the Palace of Justice and those fired from office will have to face justice./j.p/p.s./
