TIRANA, October 25/ATA/Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed on Thursday evening in television his determination to put an end to the story of lies in the decriminalization forms. Therefore, he has proposed two changes attached to the electoral reform.
The prime minister emphasized that the responsibility is individual. But, the lies have a real cost on the electors. Therefore, who lies in the decriminalization form should go to jail.
“No political party has the possibility to verify”, said further PM Rama.
According to him, the candidates should not be registered one day before the deadline, but all the parties should forward the names of the candidates 45 days ahead.
Thus, the Prosecution Office and the Police will have the possibility to verify the candidacies in 45 days, concluded the prime minister./j.p/p.s./
