TIRANA, Oct 24 /ATA/ The DP head, Lulzim Basha, said in a televised interview on Thursday that he has no problem whatsoever to get down and discuss the ways how to overcome political crisis.
“It is not a problem for me to get down and enter into discussions. The truth is that in the last three times PM has abused the will of opposition and mine to solve issues by means of dialogue. It is a lack of will, desire and capacities from this govt.,” Basha said.
Asked about the DP’s recurrent demand for early elections and the solution to get there with Rama as PM or under a caretaker govt., Basha said it is not a problem for opposition, DP and me because I have beaten Rama in a one-on-one battle.
In reply to the question about the meeting of united opposition on electoral reform, Basha said that first we have identified the main issues pertaining to reformation of political parties, law on political parties.
Secondly, the main issue is separation of politics from crime. The next step is about guaranteeing free vote. We will propose e-vote and e-count to reduce the likelihood for fraud, he said.
