Kotzias: Macron, responsible for any unpleasant development in the region

TIRANA, Oct 22 /ATA/ – Foreign Minister of Greece, Nikos Kotzias, in a reaction on postponement of opening of accession talks with Albania and North Macedonia said that Macron’s veto has undermined Prespa agreement.

Kotzias said that Macron will be the only one to blame for any unpleasant development in the Balkans.

“After the veto of Macron, the governmental conclusion over Prespa agreement is only one: it undermines the agreement. Therefore, he will be to blame for any unpleasant development in the region,” Kotzias said.

The Prespa deal reached on June 12 between Greece and North Macedonia signed on June 17 is the agreement on changing the name of Macedonia to North Macedonia.
