TIRANA, October 21/ATA/- During the period January – September of the current year, the merchant ships that have been handled in Durrës port have loaded and unloaded goods in 68 ports around the world.
The import and export of goods with Durrës have sailed from Italian ports to the USA.
The statistics provided from the Port Authority indicate that Turkey has had the largest number of ports available for freight transport to / from Durrës.
During these 9 months, Albanian and foreign ships with various goods have been anchored in 19 ports of Turkey, while Italy is second with 15 ports.
During January – September period of the current year at the port of Durrës were handled 3.12 million tons of goods./k.s/ /a.g/p.s./
