TIRANA, October 21/ATA/- The 41st International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners will take place in Tirana, Albania on 21-24 October 2019.
Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi welcomed Monday the 41st International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners, organized by the Office of the Commissioner of Albania, in Tirana’s Palace of Congresses.
The International Conference is a high-level cooperation forum of the worldwide Data Protection Supervisory Authorities.
“The fact that this Conference is taking place in Albania indicates that our country guarantees data protection and privacy for all individual citizens. Albania has modern legislation on the protection of human rights, but most importantly, it has a political and institutional willingness to respect, implement and guarantee them, “Ruçi said.
“By reason of this, we should be motivated to design, implement and monitor policies and laws that guarantee data protection for individual rights of citizens,” the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Ruçi said. //a.i/
