TIRANA, Oct 18 /ATA/ – Regional Cooperation Council Secretary General, Majlinda Bregu, has reacted following the postponement of opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania. Former Minister of Integration says that this decision is made at the expense of Albanian citizens who, according to her, will feel more powerless and weak after this decision which slows our efforts down on path to integration of our country in the European family.
“Thank you to all those in favor of opening the accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia as well as to all those who have worked hard to push ahead with the European agenda. Regret over the lack of positive decision in EUCO. Sad to see how the history of the Balkans sinks into oblivion, the processes are blurred and high time never comes and yet people think this process is detrimental to elites. No harms the citizens who feel powerless to transform their reality! Concerned about how this decision will shape dialogue, reforms, cooperation!” Bregu says. /a.sh/sm/
