TIRANA, Oct 7 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – Speaker of the Assembly of Albania Gramoz Ruçi on Monday congratulated the Albin Kurti, the leader of Kosovo’s Self-Determination Movement (Vetevendosje) on wining the Sunday’s snap parliamentary elections in the Kosovo Assembly.
“I would like to cordially congratulate you on the Vetevendosja Movement’s victory in the October 6 parliamentary elections in the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo citizens trusted and voted for Vetevendosja Movement and I am confident that the new government due to be formed following the election will work tirelessly for Kosovo’s development, prosperity, peace, security and the Atlantic and European integration,” Ruçi said in his message of congratulations to Kurti.
Albanian Assembly Speaker also congratulated his Kosovo counterpart, also leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, on the democratic election standards.
“Gratitude for the excellent cooperation between the Assemblies of the two countries. I am confident that Democratic Party of Kosovo will serve the nation and Kosovo citizens while in opposition. Respecting the election winner, a democracy model,” Ruçi said.
