TIRANA, September 27/ATA/- The President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta has expressed special thanks to the German Bundestag, especially the CDU/CSU parliamentary group for their serious commitment to supporting Albania’s European Union integration.
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta called for urgent action to resolve the political crisis and to meet the the nine clear criteria.
“If we had listened to their advice in time, today Germany would unconditionally have supported the opening of EU accession talks with Albania, just like North Macedonia,” President Meta said.
President Meta also conveyed sincere congratulations to North Macedonia on getting an unconditional green light with regard to the opening of EU accession negotiations.//a.i/
