TIRANA, Sept 20 /ATA/ At Durres Port’s Container Terminal, 25 ships have been moored since the beginning of this year with more than 800 containers per each handled.
These are the vessels with the highest number of containers handled during this year.
According to operational data of Port Authority, out of 129 vessels moored in this terminal over January August this year, 25 of them have loaded and unloaded 800 up to 1600 containers.
According to port’s operational data, the vessel with the biggest number of containers handled is MSC Namibia II, with 1612 containers handled in June this year alone.
Since the beginning of this year, 97. 565 TEU containers have been handled at Container Terminal in Durres port, or about 6,800 TEU containers more than January-August 2018.
