Basha warns lawmakers against overturning president’s decrees

TIRANA, September 12/ATA/-The leader of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha warned today the lawmakers against overturning President Meta’s decrees on reconsideration of some laws, such as the law “On Concessions and Public Private Partnership”, amended, the law on Orikum-Llogara Road Concession, the port of yachts, the law on Orikum – Dukat bypass and the concession on Milot – Balldren.

Speaking to reporters, Basha said that the opposition will take down the names of the lawmakers who vote to overturn the decrees today and they will be investigated by the Antimafia.

“I want to warn every lawmaker attending the session and raising his hand to approve the theft by law that tomorrow he will be subject to the Antimafia law. Today, we are watching you and we shall take down you names. Tomorrow, we shall pursue you. Every penny and every property will be under the scrutiny of the Antimafia and the Special Structure against Corruption and the Organized Crime, SPAK,” said Basha.

While denouncing the vote in the Parliament today on the concession of Orikum-Dukat and Milot-Balldren roads, which he considered as the largest robbery in 30 years, Basha said concessions and massive money laundering in the economy pose a danger to the country’s destabilization, national security and stop the country’s European integration./gj.mima/ /a.g/p.s./
