TIRANA, September 2 /ATA/-On Monday afternoon, there has been heavy rainfall in the Southern Albanian region of Berat causing a difficult situation for the local residents and movement of the vehicles.
The relevant structures of Berat Municipality reacted immediately in an effort to bring the situation into normality.
Berat Mayor Ervin Demo said that thanks to the fast intervention of the municipal workers on the ground the problems created by rainfall were minimized.
“We did our best to minimize the consequences of heavy rainfall as well as to identify the areas where may appear problems in the coming days”, said Demo./p.s./
