TIRANA, August 27/ATA/-The Castle of Rozafa, built on a rocky hill west of the Northern city of Shkodra, attracted a lot of visitors in August.
The Regional Directorate of National Culture in Shkodra reported there has been a growing number of tourists during the period August 1-25 this year if compared with a year ago.
“The number of visitors has increased. According to the figures, during August 1-25 there were 17, 230 visitors while during the same period last year there were 13, 910 visitors. In other words, during the current year there were 3320 more visitors than last year ”, reported the Regional Directorate of National Culture in Shkodra.
According to the Regional Directorate, the revenues from the visits to this castle have also increased compared to last year.
“Thanks to the tickets sold during the period 1-25 August 2019 we collected 2. 119.200 ALL, while in 2018 we collected 1.968.020 ALL”, states the Regional Directorate./k.s/j.p/p.s./
