TIRANA, Aug 21 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/ – Local government authorities in the Municipality of Kavaja, central Albania, acted to clean-up the beach in the Shkembi i Kavajes area, following complaints from holidaymakers.
A number of citizens had forwarded their concern to the Prime Minister Edi Rama, complaining about the beach being dirty.
A citizen had complained about the seaweed piling up on the beach near Shkembi i Kavajes area.
Following the citizens’ complaints today, local government authorities in Kavaje dispatched diggers and heavy machinery to clean up the beach.
PM Rama posted images showing the clean beach following the immediate intervention by the local government structures.
